Built by a person, not a team
Antti Savolainen
Founder · Built every line
I built Amazing Tabs because I kept losing my tabs every time Chrome crashed. Every other tab manager felt either bloated or abandoned, so I made one that works the way I think — save fast, search faster, sync across devices. It's me, in Helsinki, writing every line. No team, no investors, no telemetry tricks. If a feature would help you, just email me — I read every message.
Questions
Everything else.
Is my tab data private?
Yes. Your saved tabs are encrypted at rest. We never sell or share them, and we don't read what's inside them.
Where is my data stored?
In Firebase, in the EU region. The extension also keeps a local copy, so search still works when you're offline.
What happens to my saved tabs if I cancel Premium?
Nothing is deleted. You can still open and search every tab you saved. New saves go back to the free 20-card limit until you renew.
How does sync work across devices?
Premium syncs in real time. Save a tab on your laptop and it shows up on your other devices in about a second. No manual refresh.
Can I import from OneTab, Toby, or Workona?
Yes. Open Settings → Import, paste the export file, and the tabs land in a fresh space. No account merging.
Why $4.90 a month?
It's the price that lets one person keep building this full-time. No ads, no upsells, no data sales. Annual is $42 — about $3.50 a month.
What's the difference between Premium and Lifetime?
Same features. Premium is monthly or yearly. Lifetime is a one-time $49, capped at the first 200 founders — pay once, no recurring charge, ever.
How do refunds work?
30 days, no questions asked. Email antti@amazingtabs.app and you'll get your money back within two business days.
Is there a team plan?
Not yet. If you'd use one at work, email me and I'll bump it up the list.
Do you have a roadmap?
Yes — it lives on GitHub. Vote on what's next and file new ideas there. I read every issue.
